I down with Poo man surf camps. Reckon we can make a mint finding these spots and selling stike missions to everyday punters. Just handle all the logistics, and charge a mint.

All the mags are still trying to find more remote places to surf, so all the punters want in. Land camps and boat charters have had their day, we're taking it back to the Jungle baby - insert jungle related smilie here -

Cheers Danny. Enjoyed reading about that fellas trip up West Africa. :-D Lead me onto stumbling onto this place...

thats an airport in the bottom left next to the RH. I know this country has been shown on a surf DVD before so it's no secret.

Yeah some of those West African countries have sick set ups! In the south, the coast faces into all the swells spinning off the falklands, and in the north you get all those in the north Atlantic. With such a long coast theres likely to be absolute world class gems (prob) never ridden before.

Check out this coastline:
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&ll=18.767651,-16.15759&spn=0.002118,0.005472&t=h&z=18

.....to surf here you either need to be a devout muslim or Rambo

I've always had a trip to Namibia in the back of my mind

Scored big time on GE last night. Some awsome sessions at pumping lefts and rights up and down the coast of an Indian Ocean Island.

How sweet would it be to score this with you mates. Regulars and goofies live in harmony.

I thought it might sort of get detached and float about. :? You sometimes get loads at Godrevy after a storm.
Looking a bit further SE on GE I saw a link to this http://www.nctimes.com/news/local/article_3611e3ad-35af-5327-a334-13ec38e69bae.html

It does indeed Danny. I remember surfing a sick left point in Africa near Diamond territory and there was this mad, chaunky bull kelp in the lineup... Quite freaky and disconcerting TBH, but it did smooth out the offshore bumps
