Sorry, I put a post on this in entirely the wrong place but I am a moron so that's what happens.
Andrew Kidman has a really great new blog at http://ether-kidman.blogspot.com
He's updating daily (or at least really close to daily and it's great stuff, photos from the book as well as the archives and good stories to go along with it all.

Thanks

This guy has a nice blog without a hint of any cyncism. He appears to be a beginner surfer/water photog but but has gone to Indo for the winter. Some good water shots for a first timer. I just clicked on it via a video link in the Bude forecast - good find

Here's a few surf art & photography blogs in one place (via RSS)...
www.clubofthewaves.com/blog.php

The menu to the left links to a few different surf artist and photographer blogs including surf photographers Morgan Maassen, Ben DeCamp, Mickey Smith, Trent Mitchell, Roger Sharp, Chris Straley (coming soon) and surf artists Meegan Feori and Erik Abel

This is my blog - http://surfingartculture.blogspot.com, there are a bunch of links on there to some really good surf blogs

Otherwise I recommend...

Lunny is an exceptionally good vert skater, although he would not tell you that.

He once built his own kneebraces as the ones he was getting from the doc didn't hold up well enough.

Sorry, it's not a blog but didn't know where to put this.

Nice read from Drift came through the other day if you missed it. Pity the pic has been removed as it went well with the lines...

"A tourist pulling up at the town headland would see a mass of horror, not noticing the tiny traces of ants darting across the vast walls. The sight of their dropping jaws when you point out what their untrained eyes have not seen would be worth the price of admission to Disneyland.....Non-surfers look in awe, as it is truly only when seeing surfers on giant waves do non-surfers truly ‘get it’."
