The footage from the trailing hand is way better than leading hand I reckon. Awesome vid tho. Loving the variety of angles and shots you put in. Was expecting the same old angle of the same mushy wave looped for 3-4mins, but well liked that. Something to be said for not mounting the cam on your board.

Think if you lick the lens you don't get drops on it.

Yes, I would agree. Some bits made me a bit queasy though! I'm finding the cam on the board footage I get is starting to look repetitive to me which is why I've been thinking about changing method however when I wrist mounted my old ATC2k I found the surf session was spoilt by thinking about the camera too much - you can just forget about a board mounted camera (until you slice your nose on it of course ).

Cheers poo/black, trailing hand definately seems better for filming yourself. Harder to film others though. It took me a while to get used to wrist camera. Think it will come into its own in big hollow waves. . . . if we ever get them again!

going to be head mount next I think!

I also want to mount it towards the back and on the outside rail (going forehand) of my log to get some noseriding footage. I think if it was on the centre it would get too much water spray. So many different options, things to play with I'm pleased I got one in the end!! Not to mention just pole mounting it and swimming but I'll wait for the summer for that one!

But coming back to St Ives from a cliff walk yesterday I couldn't help noticing Jayce having fun at Meor.









Quite pleased for first attempt (and with a monopod) although I guess a decent subject helps
