Rez - you seen Broke Down Melody yet? Classic tow-in session in Tahiti with Slater and the boys - absolutely perfect waves in the absolutely-massive size range!

these heavy ass waves make me feel sick, they are seriously life threatening, how teahupoo break like that in the first pic without a huge close out? its insane, also i swear its been taken with a super duper fish eye lens

What I can't understand in that Teahupoo pic is why everyone is sat on the shoulder, they want to be sat over there!

Those guys have evolved over time into an exaggeration of what I would describe as a good surfer.... it's so much beyond anything that we seaweeders will ever attempt or could even contemplate.

Makes great TV though.

I think those are the most incredible photos of break I have ever seen.

It seems incomprehensible that anyone seeing that would go:
' yeah,cool, I can surf that!'

I've stolen it for my background on my work pc (sorry Rez!) and I just stare at it not getting a lot of work done!

I would love to see it for real, but only from a boat in the channel! :D
I believe in the 50 year storm.
