Scarbourough South Bay 30th July 2005

Postby surfguru » Mon Aug 01, 2005 10:34 am

These are general few of surf in the afternoon ,the waves early were better and later in the evening worse.
Not a bad day though for Summer along the North sea coast.

Guru - nice work mate...was relying on you to get some shots!

had some size to it.....sets were coming through overhead and as the wind dopped off there were some nice rights and lefts in front of the spa....

was busy but majority were learners and/or people staying towards the town end of the beach picking off the smaller cleaner ones....

was about 10 of us down towards the spa waiting on the larger ones.

those yellow bouys they've put in are useful....at mid tide one of them marks the take off zone everytime!!

yes re yellow buoys i found the same up a whitby earlier in the year, most of the yellow buoys are around the peak of the waves at various points along the main beaches, you may have seen josh my lad and i hanging around near them at times.
glad you liked the pics.

:D Ye gads it looks cold though, compared to our summery bath water temperature down here in SW. Mind you couldn't move for people at Widdy on Monday, never seen so many people there ever.
