Porth Cieriad North Wales 5th august

Tropical Storm Franklin brought a few waves to North Wales on the 5th August 2005.
had a nice 3hr session in the water at Porth Cieriad with some really nice big peaks.
The pictures are taken 1hr or so before low tide when the wave had become more of a shore dump but they still give some idea of how good for us bodyboarders today was you cant take pics and surf the best of the waves
This storm is heading over to the east to give some waves over there soon.

I'm prob not going to for this first report as its more of an interoduction to the area and crew so we can get more spongers in the area meeting up.

no drink involved at all - cant even get a sweat up to kill it off with 2 quilts (27 tog total) even had a day off work - i never have time off work for a cold but this is genuine man-flu - may put that on my sick form
