sweet waves, should have taken a drive over, west of scotland covered in thick fog and drizzly rain all day. Had a look at various web cams around the country...everywhere else was sunny  ....another classic summers day in scotland

With these pics, and those others from THAT morning myself and freerider scored the other week, I'm starting to seriously forgive Cayton for the pain of frozen-footed long walks up the hill in feb, tide/wind sensitivity, potentially lethal obsticles in the shallows, moody matriarchs etc etc. How much do you reckon they want for those houses on the cliff??? If they're holiday homes perhaps a bit of squatting is in order this winter...

Powl - Drew's nextdoor neighbour in Pudsey owns one of them

i reckon you 2 could cut a cheap deal with him......rent it out silly cheap for a long weekend of swell

but she is a moody bay.......gorgeous when she wants to be and bitchy at times too :D

Hey dude

I'm coming upto Cayton Bay on friday! I've been checking the surf reports and it said there no waves but your pics have proven them wrong :D

Whats the best time to surf the bay? Do you think the conditions will be the same for friday? Its a 2 hour trip for me so dont wanna waste it

all the best
