Taking Water Housing Abroad

Im of to the Canaries soon and am thinking about taking my video and stills housing. Has anyone done the same whats the best way to do it? Housing in suitcase camera in hand luggage? Any ideas? Cheers.

It would be tempting to put the camera in the housing and chuck it all in your luggage but i reckon its best if you keep the body in your hand luggage. Ive always put lenses in my main luggage and its been fine so far.
Ive been looking in to getting a BIG Peli case to fit the housing and all my gear into but it costs loads. Gotta get something though, for security and travelling.

I've got a samsonite hard case so hopefully it should be ok in that, just means I wont have room for any clothes in the case! Those Peli cases look good!

I wouldnt seal the housing either way you take it as you will probably trash it because of the pressure on the plane. (cabin = pressurised, Cargo = unpressurised)...

Just leave the lid off or whatever so the air can escape!
