The best way if you can't drive is to get the train.

Its one of thoes photogenic breaks... lots going on in the picture as well as the wave itsself.... background hills and foreground rocks make it more interesting to the eye.

Can you tell i just had a biffta

Hi,
Thanks for compliments =)

If it broke like this all the time it'd be great, but unfortunately it doesn't. Surf comp this weekend is barely getting any waves or so I hear. Popped down earlier this afternoon it was flat as a pancake and they're waiting for the tide to push....

Water temp is okay at the moment, i.e. no gloves or boots but still need a winter steamer if you're staying in longer than a an hour or so...

Winter time is something else. If last winter is anything to go by then there was some scarily big waves... but it's picking the right time, often it's blown out and fickle...

I personally think they staged the competition too early this year, from the middle to end of september onwards is when it really kicks into gear and is more likely to be consistent.

Oh yeah to answer Danny1, about 4 or 5 people in that night.

You could say that for pretty much all comps here in the UK esp the bigger ones (nationals etc)

It never ceases to amaze me how the contest calander each year holds a majority of comps from June to August.
