Phone pics

Postby The Hoff » Thu Mar 15, 2007 8:13 pm

After taking this on my phone yesterday I thought it would be cool to have a thread dedicated to phone cam pics, I think this one came out pretty nicely. :-D

Nice work danny, loving those mate, keep 'em coming. There's something I like about working against your limitations with these low res cameras, almost brings out the best in your creativity when you've less options at your disposal, that's why I also like the lomo cameras - http://www.lomohomes.com/ratty75 (Couple bonus Indo albums in there too).

I did an HND in graphic design a good while back, only just started putting it to good use though, but I like to create. :-D

Nice shots guys.

Just shows how things have moved on though. 20 years ago most of us would have been happy with the quality you get from a modern mobile phone cam..better than one of those old Kodak ektra things ..

Your shots just go to show that composition and subject matter can make it good, no matter what the hardware.

I've seen Hoff snapping away with that little thing for ages but never really seen the results till now. What a wicked little camera! 8)
Like the look of the Holga, gonna have to invest in one of those.

Mealy they're not even an investment they're so cheap!
This is where I got mine from http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Brand-New-Holga-120N-Lomo-Snapshot-Camera-100-NEW-US_W0QQitemZ230104665015QQcategoryZ297QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I paid $58.99 for a 120N with a 35mm adaptor, 2 rolls of 120 film and shipping to the UK. I think it looks like fun to muck around with in the summer.
