Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

using a cable tie as a quick alternative for a leash string... bad idea?

(just to replace the string that ties the leash to the board not the whole leash!)

I'd use 3 to spread the load and allow for some failure.

I got to the beach at weekend and realised there was no leash loop on my board or leash... Quick walk to the beach, bit of old fishing net... Job done.
