Fishy stuff

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

Bought a Jim Banks 6' - 20 1/4" - 2 1/2" mark iii just after Christmas. Rode it loads and love it drivey easy turning and makes flat spots with ease. Single concave works great not a sign of tail vee anywhere. Will post pics tomorrow. :-D Saying that I had a quick blast on Waxer00 twin fin he shaped himself... Shit me what a board, fast, drivey and full of Stoke! He defo has a magic recipe there. :-D

not trying to big up myself here, but since i've moved and haven't had a chance to set up my own glassing rooms yet. So, I've had Laminations do the wrap and hotcoat for me on a couple. All I can say is Jer hooked them up, and I'm super stoked on the quality. Here's one going to Germany that has just been hotcoated:

Moonlight who?! These guys in Aggie are well up there with anyone. Even Trev at Down the Line says the Pavels they finished are as good as any he's got.

So yah, give the UK craftsmen a big shout out  :occasion5:

The Banksie is a great twin .. Holds in and is super drivey, you can really put it into a turn. Not too great on super small days... That's when I get olde faithful out a Hobie Circa 71 twin, bloody thing will catch anything!

the curves of that clear quad really remind me of my 12ft long fish sim, - heaps more compact though. Is it a new template of yours or another blend of master templates?

hey finlay,

that's just one of mine stretched out a bit. however, that 12' template comes in handy for blending lots of longboards templates!
