2012 Fish Fry?

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

I'm getting the feeling that not many people know that the abbreviation of AB3?! I did see on Bookface a woman asking if it was 'child friendly?'

You chaps are gonna have a blinder! Catch a few for me as it's looking 99.999% that I can't make it - but with .001% there's always hope ;)

'That's it, one more and I'm going in, this is rubbish...' that ought to lift the jinx for ya ;)

Chai - there's 2 that are demos, and 3 of them are for sale.

from left is 5'6"x21x"2 5/8" stringerless double bump quad £375 with 757 fins, 5'6"x22"3" Black opaque twinzer sim £550, 8'6"x22"very foiled out 3" Gip with volan patches and a couple pressure dings from the baggage goons, £375... only ridden the Gip and quad a handful of times, so there's no dings in any of them, all come with fins too... 8)

see you there!

Aye, hope the Fry is off the scale this year, I just can't justify it, gotta be in Kernow for Dad's 70th in about three weeks so that has precedence. On the upside, looks like Thurso will be cranking and I go to pick up my new log in about 90 mins :)

Have fun boyos :-D

Lovely day! Bit like going to the best surf shop in the world, that just so happens to be in a pub.Nice. Lot of serious ink being done, but didn't see the barber's. Rob Royal is a real nice bloke. Board of the day had to be that Diplock longboard for shear stun factor.

There looks to be some beauties there. Maybe it's good I couldn't make over wise I would have bought lots of new boards (now I have a van to fill). Hope everyone had/has fun.

Sorry I didn't get down to see you Rob (hopefully we'll catch up again soon) but I have an exhibition to hang and I've got to cover a 35' wall. Getting a bit stressed out (so actually the fish Frye would have been the best tonic for the nerves. Anyway, looking forward to see more photos. :-)
If only there was a simpler way to get difficult things done.

Everyone that went!!!
Yes Rob is officially the nicest guy in the world, he holds the title.
What is really great about this event is that you can't go anywhere else where you can try or buy so many boards that you actually have to think about.

Almost didn't happen for me, but a last minute turn around happened, stoked!

Royal's anti-Casper and Bro's balsa stubbie were the ones for me. AB3's logs were also a joy to behold. Beautiful.

Mrkmrk, buttholesurfer, AB3 - great to meet and chinwag :D

Rob - great to chat as always, hope the Eastcoast expo goes well

Shame about the swell, but it's always 6in and glassy in the pub eh?

was indeed a great day. lots of friendly faces, some old, some new, and all digging the show.

if you stuck around for the night, it was equally fun. seemed like everyone had a blast, and judging by my hangover on sunday, so did i

black - always nice to chat!

nice to see you again tom, and meet your lovely wife. hope you guys had fun.

paul's boards looked great, did very well with getting noticed(well done mate!) as did all of the UK boards.
