Simon Jones/MP/Fanning

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

This is good stuff: It seems that Simon Jones, who does the 'Morning Of The Earth' line of boards built a couple of MP inspired singles for Mick Fanning. One is a 'modernized' version of the classic MP style board, and it seems to be working nicely (for Fanning anyway)

The other is a pretty classic channeled single, nice looking indeed

Good stuff

Would like a closer look at that board of Fanning's. Love that photo, gotta be one of the best pics I've seen in ages

It's now with the renaissance of singles you wish you had kept all those boards from the 70/80's..................in particular a 6' 10" Creamed Honey................... :-(

Those are really tidy Mal, nice indeed. There's definitely still a group of shapers working the single fin stuff in Australia, and these photos are all from the Albly Falzon/Andrew Kidman 'Spirit Of Akasha' project- Sage Joske did this one for his brother Heath, who said it really helped his style for the J-Bay contest he just did.
