is this board to small??

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

If you surf a powerful fast wave you'd get away with it. If you surf a more slopped slow wave...no.

without meaning to be rude, if I am wrong, sorry, asking the question suggests you've not been surfing very long. 2 1/4 thick round tail isn't going to have much float, it wants to go late and steep with no mucking about or margin for error.

Save the money.

If I'm wrong, I'm really sorry... 6'2 and 15st is a unit alright! REALLY SORRY!

I'd say you want to be looking at boards 2"1/2 - 2"5/8, certainly not 2"1/4.

Wouldn't entertain a fish either, flat, fast and loose. Nice egg shape with a bit of rocker, width and volume under your chest. Try a few hire boards if you can.

Try a longboard too. Catch more waves, more waves equals more fun.
