Mat eof mine lived in SA for years, he went over in December to see his son, and planned on buying a board over there, said they were stupid cheap. Came home empty handed, reckoned there wasn't much in it anymore, not enough to make it worth while anyway.

Still way cheaper, although many would argue quality, just look at all the imports here, Lawson's Spiders etc and thats including all he import taxes. My stubby's were some of the best boards i've had, when are you off to NZ

This year. No set date, if it's early next it's no drama. We want everything in place before we start the process. And we're giving the inlaws a bit longer to come to terms with it as at the moment they won't even discuss it with us. Wife's an only child. Very hard obviously.

Having been most of the way through it a few years back we could start today and have the visas within 4 months all being well.

Cheers homeslice.

Back to thread, Loveley board, the kind that a few years back Id be wanking over. I've now come to the decision it's very much like someone's weekend motor. The old MGB that's kept in the garage until July. Great as a second toy, but not ideal.

Sadly, I've ended up with another. The Malibu Chio. Common sense tells me to sell it. But I've been run over twice, fallen from height more times than I care to imagine, and my latest pastime is urban free climbing. Or "Buildering" as it's known.

Common sense and me don't get on well.

You seen that clip where his foot slips. I papped it just watching him.

Step away from the buildering flacky, get on some proper crags. you have tons to choose from round you.

Sorry for straying from topic - that board is utterly beautiful, but no way I could part with that much cash for it.
