Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

I see shapes / graphics that looks like the ones made by Rusty, Bilbo, McTavish, Nineplus, Circle one, O'Shea... I highly doubt the shaping skill and board construction is any superior than of those.

Looks like their time is spent more on marketing and less on quality production.

Plus they are based in Australia... the website doesn't say how much it'll be to ship to UK, but my hunch is probably not worth the cheap deal on boards...

Just my thoughts on Jam Pacific, I'm sure someone will disagree. Care to disagree Mark?

As its got the same colours I'm thinking its out of the same factory, so maybe someone in the factory is making a bit on the side? Only difference is logos.

Edit: Could be seconds quality control rejected??

There are all sorts of identical copies... I recognised some graphic / shape replica of Rusty, Bilbo, McTavish, Nineplus, Circleone, O'Shea...

It's scary how open Jam Pacific is about it, too... maybe they have a direct deal from a wholesaler of above brands (possibly a machine made mass production in China or Indonesia).

They are "online" company and the prices are probably at NSP / BIC level. Perfect for fishing novices / holiday surfers?

Mark bought one form them so it must be the best board company ever.

Their 'A' rock carbon railed short board is a haden shapes black cat too.
Looks like their coming out of gsi then.

I do like their business plan though, everything is 8 to 12 weeks pre order so the boards probably don't even exist yet.
Spam the shit out of every forum then get enough people's orders to get a container load shipped over.

God knows how mark managed to get one so early.

"About Us" page: http://www.jampacific.com/aboutus.asp

Our surfboards, accessories and SUP's are direct from the warehouse to you so we can give you great prices for top quality products.

So they are directly from the warehouse. Second quality / "irregular" / caught on quality control / clearance they are then. I guess it's not a bad option to get a cheap board for short-term use.

Oh wait...:

"About Jam Pacific Surfboards" page: http://www.jampacific.com/Articles.asp?ID=252

Jam Pacific quality
When purchasing a Jam Pacific surfboard you can be assured that your surfboard has been put through our strict quality control system. Every surfboard goes through various quality control checks when manufactured and in dispatch to ensure that your surfboard meets your expectations when it arrives at your door.

Is there such a company here in the UK or Europe??

It is a little bit obvious innit, even I can use a clone tool better than that!
