keel fins in a performance twin?

Any discussion on shaping, designing, repairing and riding surfcraft of any type or shape. Also a good place to ask the 'what board should I buy?' question.

keel fins in a performance twin?

pretty much as the title suggests, anybody ever tried it? or even in a thruster with the right fin positioning? can imagine it would make a proper twinny feel a bit less pivotal
purely hypothetical currently, just intrigued

Its essentially just putting massive fins in the board so I would imagine it will increase lateral drive but make it a lot stiffer to turn......................and probably look ugly too!

looks aside I was thinking you'd stiffen up a twinny so you could use it in bigger waves, without losing the inherent glide/speed by throwing in a centre fin
it's flat and I'm bored...
