Cheers. Not really making much in the way of cash in pocket profit as the income I get goes on the council tax, resort management annual fee and utilities but making enough that I'll have to do a bloody tax return though! I also sold all the summer weeks to the resort management who sell on at a higher cost via expedia, hotels.com and bookings.com but i'd much rather have a bird in the hand and it saves me the hassle all year.
It makes all our weeks free tho' and we're going for a month this winter with the toddlers and I've had a good 5 (individual) weeks there since got it and back out this month and 2 weeks in June/July.
Just happy that the resort is so well managed. We pay a little more towards that and for the upkeep of the more upmarket communal facilites (as with any flats really we're all the residents pay for the communal) but happy with that, the indoor pool and spa facilities are great.
Bit too much info but the resort is well worth looking into if anyone is thinking about buying abroad for a pain and stress free time. The appartments are so cheap compared to when we first looked at them in 2006, ours is 110k less than then (got ours for 90k). Pure luck (and lack of an upfront deposit at that time) that we didn't go for it then.
You're too deep Camel..its Indo not Margaret River
