imsouane sand

Anyone been down there this year? I know it shifts all the time, but how's the sand on the point and round the corner right now?

Was there a couple of weeks ago and surfed round the corner. Sets were a bit of a wait but when they came were a foot or so overhead and peeling down the point very nicely, waves had a lovely shape. Got real busy though as the bay wasn't breaking. Had a look there but seemingly not enough swell. Faint lines showing and peeling into the bay but not breaking.

No one I spoke to knew if the bay had been working or not.

Surfed there two days ago. It has changed so much due to the removal of the sand. There was a BIG swell but plenty of waves to be had. They were quite difficult to read but possible to catch as many different sections formed all over the beach; however plenty more spots available in Morocco!

Did they dredge the entrance for the fishermen then?

Thanks for the heads up...

I've been fortunate to score epic waves from dar bouazza to way down south on a few trips...

This trip I want to visit friends, kick back and write and have two tide options in walking distance.
