How do you track your surf sessions?

Hi Guys,

I would love to track my surf sessions, how many waves I caught, etc. in some kind of app or on a website.

Do any of you care about tracking surf session and what kind of apps are out there?

MSW social is designed for that & sharing but I gave up on it as I was duplicating records on my computer (kept as html). Other ways are plenty as wigsy points out. Perhaps pencil & paper. What sort of records do you want?

Running a spreadsheet is a possibility, but I was hoping to have something more automated.

I'd like to log the number of waves surfed, number of turns per wave and time in the water - at a minimum.

Any ideas if that's available, otherwise I might build myself an app
