Gotta be inside otherwise the water gets in easily and fills them up.
You'll end up with boxing gloves for hands (impossible to paddle with) and huge clown feet (impossible to stand up).

Yes, i agree.. it got to be inside a wetsuit.. you don't want to end up your hands getting wet or foot wet while in a fight..
but i've seen also people like my mate whos wearing it outside.. says he fells comfortable with it? hmm. dont really think so though..

I've done it both outside and inside well boots...

and from experiance on the outside I do just fill up with water in my boots, when I get out i dump about a litre of water. Inside must be the way forward I'd say.
But I also get that some boots may feel uncomfortable wearing on the inside, really its your call if you can surf either way then just take your pick.
