when is it too cold for the 3/2

i live in NC and was just wondering what is the general idea for a temp. that u wouldnt wanna be out in the 3/2 for? been out about a week ago and seemed ok but it has gotten substantially colder here. thanks

Well it really depends on your cold tolerance. Ive met people who surf 2mm suits down in the the low 50s with booties. Personally I like a 4/3 at anything lower than 56 or 57 just to be comfortable. I usually wear booties when it hits about 55 or 56.
