Base layer wax question

Postby speedysi » Thu Aug 20, 2015 9:31 pm

Apologies for the very nooby question. Going to experiment withe putting down a base layer of wax. This is the stupid question. Do any folk put the layer on a t home-board in bag-bag in/on car-top coat on at beach? Or do most folk wait until they get to the beach to put the base/top coat on. If you see what I mean!!!!

Apologies again

What's a fricken base coat mate? If you only just started, and you don't live anywhere south of the tropic of Cancer (or north of the tropic of capricorn) you won't even notice if you have a base coat of wax or jam mate.

Just get some nice rippley bumps built up of your favorite sex wax and ride your bloody board. Add a fresh thin layer after every couple of surfs to keep it sticky and use a wax comb to helps those nipples develop nicely.
