Longboard no bigger than 9' 1

Hey,

Going to Barbados and trying to figure out if I should take a longboard out there to save on rental fees.

It's free to take one with Virgin, but it must be under 9' 1".

Would like something that turns, I'm beginner (on way up to intermediate...) and will be sharing with my gf, beginner.

Anything considered but must be fairly cheap.
