Putting the feelers out for a camper van VW/Vito or something else for the summer - something we can use to surf/camp with the family dont want to spend anymore than 5k

for that cash you would be better off buying a van and doing a basic conversion yourself.

keep your eyes open for an ex-motorcross race van or similar cos they'll have been insulated and often part converted leaving you with half a job to complete, minus electrics n shit. also they're generall well looked after and motorway miles only.
