I have poor eyesite and cant wear contacts while surfing. Dirty dog can make prescription 'wet' sunglasses. Has anyone tried these and did they stay on?
or will i just look like an idiot in the lineup?

Not tried them, but for the last few years I've used DD sunnies for skiing when I'm not using goggles. Love 'em.
you don't have to be the best to enjoy it as much as the best

Why cant you wear contacts? Do they not do dailies in your prescription?

They do, but when I've tried it before they've either wash out or I get sore eyes.

stick with them mate

yes, they do occasionally wash out, but its better than not being able to see ! its not so bad on a beachy where you can get out an pop one back in if it goes, but its not as easy when you have paddled 100m out to the line up of a point and walked down a sketchy cliff to get there
