I wanted a Snugg but past one was like wearing Cardboard. Had the Titan Minizip about 11 years ago. FOr the money, I'm not sure, hmmm. See how this Patagucci is. Happy with my infiniti.

Boz suits from peru are meant to be good.

I had a new patch put in for dirt cheap by bodyline newquay as water was seeping through my arse. Too much time sitting around not catching waves I guess. Or maybe just a big booty.

Halfway through the second season in the Bodyglove Vapor 5/4mm chestzip and it is still ridiculously warm and comfy.... so warm, in fact, that I actually get a sweat on and often have to shower before going into work as I smell like a camel :? A 4/3mm of the same suit would easily do most winters in the southwest I reckon. Even a hooded 3/2mm would probably let you in the sea for an hour in January before you felt chilly....

Still in one piece, slightly frayed/worn collar and cuffs, but seams are rock solid and zip fastening points are as good as new. Would buy another in a blink of an eye if they were more easily available over here....

5mm Hooded Xcel Drylock, couple of years old, picked up second hand and it'd barely been used, waaaaaayyy too warm in the SW. Hooded 4mm is plenty down here.

Not really sure what the point of posting this is, but it feels good....

Just got a new Rip Curl Flashbomb 5/3. Had my Xcel for 6 years, and after 3 hours last month in Scarborough, I was a mess. Slurring, aching all over, head was a mess. The suits done it's stint, so was done a solid favour by a mate and got this suit super cheap.

Not worn it in the water yet, but the quality is unreal. I know the usual Rip Curl knocking is bound to follow, time will tell.

This is a very good suit. Hopefully!

A lot of people like the new Ripcurls, so fingers crossed.

After my positive experience with the Bodyglove Vapor (sic) I picked up another BG, a hooded 5/4/3 Fusion for a ridiculously cheap price. Had three surfs in it so far and while it's not as flexy in the leg as the Vapor, it is still really impressive and so warm. I'm rotating it with the Vapor at the mo, which is still going strong.

They don't seem to be readily available on the UK, which is a shame as I think a lot of people will be pleasantly surprised with the performance and the build.

People should only review suits after at least one season & then 2. Anything before that is speculation.

I've had 3 rip curl f bombs. Good but hoods failed in yr
2

My new excel after one winter season is still warm. Starting to get a bit cold round the arse. And since my shoulder injury I'm struggling to get it off and fear the hood might be getting undue stress when I pull it off!

Xcel suits - 2 new last season suits bought over last couple years, Infiniti x zip, both had stitching on seams coming loose & falling out after few surfs maybe 15 ish. Anyone else? Or just bad luck?

Does anyone know for sure if there is a counterfeit underground in wetsuits - it wouldn't surprise me bearing in mind the varying quality in the same make of suit that crops up. Even coming out of the same factory from the same materials in the middle of the night - quick profit!
