4/3mm Wetsuit, M-MT

Postby Dantastic » Thu May 30, 2013 12:56 pm

Hi Guys,

Just a bit of a 'please keep your eyes out' for the above. I am after a 4/3 suit to see me through summer and autumn. I have a budget of about £100-150 but want it to be as stretchy as possible. Im ideally looking for that elusive 2011/2012 stock, last one, was £100000000 now only £150.

Im checking the usual sites, king of watersports, wetsuit clearance/warehouse/giveaway/bonanza etc.

If anybody see's a deal whilst browsing please do be a dear and pass me a link!

Cheers ripppers.

How big are you?

I've got a 4/3 Xcel Infinity Drylock, it's hooded, but you can easy enough take the hood down. Couple of seasons old, odd leak here and there, but nothing major. It's a small tall, but I'm 5'11, 12 stone, 32 waist, 38 chest, and it fits fine. Super flexy too.

£70 and it's yours!

Good call Phil. Im not in downton abbey!

Leven, that sounds pretty good but ill be using it in the north sea so any holes will be highlighted. My xflex is a ST and fits a treat so that's a bonus. Let me have a think. Is the hood removable?

Nah, hood is fixed. Easy enough to just pull down, and just tighten the cord around your neck a little. I do it all the time in winter with my other hooded suit.

I've used it a couple of times diving for crabs and stuff in the last 6 weeks, and it's been fine. It doesn't flush like mad or anything, more like some seeping when you first get in. Once you're wet, you don't really notice it. (At least I don't!).

Let me know.

Porthleven, in Cornwall. If you're using it in the North Sea, that's a way to come to try a £70 wetsuit on!

Bude is still 2 hours from Porthleven! Up to you, it is what it is! Couple of seasons old, bit leaky on some of the seams. Could do with a dab of Black Witch on the back (I'll do that if you want).

It's the suit with the airprene (air filled neoprene) in the chest and back, and the Quick Dry Fibre all over, so it dries quicker. Lighter than a normal 4/3 too, and really flexible.

Happy to post at that price too if you like.
