quick xcel sizing question?

Postby gavtheoldskater » Mon Jul 29, 2013 8:24 am

before anyone says try one on... i will not waste a local shops time by trying on a suit when i have no intention of buyingt from them.

so, can anyone quickly tell me how xcel size up.. are the sizes big or small for their size (if that makes sense). would you say they are fairly accurate to the size chart? i'm sat between a med and a med large (5ft11 and 156lbs) hence the question.

I'm 5'10" and 80kg but I've got a broad back and chest.

The xcel sizing for my chest means I use an XL.
I'd say that the waist arm and leg lengths are a bit big / long, but the waist isn't flappy and the leg and arm length isn't a problem.

For me from the Xcel size chart an XL short wouould be just about perfect but I couldn't find one.

I'd say the sizes from the chart are accurate and if you between sizes pick the dimension that is most important and outher dimensions being too big wont be a problems.
I've been there in the past with outher suits and I wouldn't have a dimension too small.

Hope that make seance.

What year suit are you looking at? They've changed the cut slightly, and are tighter last winter/this summer.

I'm 5'10, 12 stone, 38 chest etc, and a Medium/MS in the new cut. Historically, I could get away with either a M, MS or ST.

it'll be a 2013 one. think i'm going to risk a med, i'm 5ft11 and just under 12stone. my worry with the mt is that it'll be a bit loose on the stomach as my current suit is, esp as i've got another half stone to drop.

and if you see a fs on classified, you'll know i got it wrong!!!

Medium should be fine, they've got a little tighter. I'm about the same, and a medium is pretty much as good a fit as you'll get.

I'm 5'11 73kg 36" chest and a ST does me a peach. Good luck.
