Cheap alternative to Carver skateboard

Postby goatdonkey » Fri Nov 18, 2016 1:25 pm

Hey,

Does anyone know of a skateboard that is similar to a Carver or Smoothstar but is more affordable? I never skateboarded before but will be learning to surf in Indonesia for a few weeks next year and thought it'd be a good way to give me a head start. That, and I live next to an old airport which I'm keen to put to use with a skateboard.

I came across these:

Does anyone have any experience with them? Not much info online.

Cheers,
Scott

No experience with them, but from the video it doesn't look like they turn any differently to an ordinary skateboard.

It looks cheap. It is cheap. Maybe you get what you pay for?

No skateboard is going to prep you for a beginners surf trip to Bali!

Put your money towards a good health insurance cover and buy a skateboard if you make it home in one piece!
