Call to Arms - from Cornwall and now Bristol are worth a mention.

They sound like a mix of Pennywise and Bad Religion, without ever sounding like a rip off of either band - they tick all of the boxes for me. Real punk in a world full of wannabe bandwagon chasers.

He does a bit, but he seems to be more the type that would burn a public school down than attend one.

John...always honest. Even about his hypocrisy at times. Punk died when they released their first album and created hordes of followers. Reborn was PUnK the business. Still some good stuff, but no longer a short lived movement to upset the arena apple cart.

Had some leatherface mush on today followed by operation ivy. Made a bad journey better.

Had carter usm on on the way home though. I assume that would be a different thread :-D.

Are goober patrol still going? I'm a bit out of touch these days. I used to go and see 3-4 bands a week when I did records. Kind of miss that.

kind all of that, had some quite serious back issues which initially kept me out of the water, then was diagnosed with skin cancer on my nose, the type that isn't threatening to life but could lead to quite serous disfigurement (insert appropriate ugly joke) then found due to lack of water time competing with ever busier line up was a struggle and that surfing was not a pleasure but a chore, so I decided to spend some time back on the MTB which has been good but this year limited as family and work just seem to get in the way not to mention the shit weather.

Gona make a concerted effort to surf more this coming year now my back is fixed.

I have missed it though, and I look at the web cams almost every day the spark is still there I just need to get off my arse..........

who is on here and who has gone then??

Yes mate the Goober are still going. They've played a few shows this year in between Tommy playing bass for the Toy Dolls. Did a fair few shows with them back in the day - cool fellas :-D
