These guys, along with Tad, epitomised the Subpop sound in the late '80s. Yeah, yeah, Nirvana were on Subpop too in the early days, but they were just mediocre compared to these guys... Another one of my favourites, Mudhoney:

I like NIN but I don't think they're metal. Their singles are always class but then the albums always turn out to be watered down synthy ballads. But I do like them but have to be in the right mood for it :wink:

I once interviewed Pennywise for a mag i was writing for after a show they did in Leeds a few years back...really nice guys and all keen Surfers...Fletcher especially...we did the beer fridge in they had in the touring van...quality.

no but they got a new ep out,the other tracks on the ep are some of the best they've done
'You Say You're a Doctor But You're Really a Mister' is a killer tune and 'horses can't swim' is my favourite tune they've ever done. itunes it fool :wink:
