Considering I am responsible for resurrecting this thread from the garbage heap ( ) , I will feel free to post pics here, as they become available. There is an 11'-8 " balsa gun currently under construction , designed and shaped (by a well known shaper) specifically for Waimea Bay....... photos soon as the wood comes in...

It's a highly successful surfboard, and the OT content on the other thread was due to other people trolling with OT comments. . I just answered them to correct their mistakes.

Anyway it's very easy to start a thread on your boards, I'd like to see your work myself and so would others.

I don't mind if you put your stuff up here but it would seem sensible to start your own thread or threads.

What would have been sensible , is to let this dead story R.I.P.

I know that you and the surf industry in hawaii want the story to die, but it is not going to, particularly when we have fresh ride reports coming in and the board is in excellent sound condition.

They can't keep a good thing down. . . .

Yeah, well you cant keep a dead thing alive !.... .....well and good if something of substance comes in, but it never does... .........I think the surf Industry in HI has given you a fair run and now you are too bitter to accept the reality. You bit the hand that was feeding you so to speak. In Hawaii it's history , so just move on..

So Roy

Mister or Miss's X would love to surf the board on a point in Mexico

Just let you know I would love to surf loads of boards on points in mexico and you know what, its easy for me to do it.

Just stuff em in a bag, hop on a plane and bingo :-D

No need to ship the board out months in advance to make the trip

Incorrect, there are many intelligent people with whom I agree on most points.

Not many of them are surf product consumers however

Avant garde wooden surfboards of the pure surfing intelligentsia is exactly what they are.

Here's an introduction to surfboard balance.
