Paipo - Belly Board

Postby DonReminho » Sun Nov 13, 2011 9:39 pm

I am looking to get hold of a Paipo or Belly Board for Christmas and saw a few decent ones at the Belly Boarding world champs in conwall.
I wondered if anyone had any contacts of decent shapers or companies selling them. (I have heard of a couple of shops in Cornwall but not quite what I was looking for)
Any help would be much appreciatted.

I am in Devon and can travel to Cornwall
Thanks

There is a wide range of paipo types/models. Is it fair to assume you are interested in a UK-style wood board?

You will find a wide range of paipo builders at this link, including two of the UK-based builders, The Original Surfboard Company and The Traditional Surfing Company:

Others are on the link list and my apologies for not noting which ones are in the Cornwall and Devon areas.

Hi Guys,

Thank you all for your replies. I have been in touch with Gavin at Traditional Surfing and he has what I am looking for and just down the road from me.
Joe - when budget permits I will give you a shout and get one from you as your board looks beautiful.
Photos of my project "the Sledge" to follow...
