Yes I am. I really don't Get why apps need all these privileges some want access to my messages, phone calls, control my camera etc. Just to tell me the weather
or something. wtf?! '

The app needs your "phone details" to work out whether you have an internet connection or not. The app needs to ask your permission about reading phone state, which tells the app whether you have internet or not, unfortunately the way Android has labeled that particular permission isn't very clear.

We don't have your number, who you've been calling or your messages.
