Not at all. I just find it odd when people judge others by what board they ride waves with...

Unless you want to explain why it causes "a chi glitch"... or even what a "chi glitch" is...

/\ Well, it's all about the natural energies man, like you can't feel your Chi flow unless you're standing on natural materials like the ground, or wood on the ground, or cloth and resin(!), which is connected to the earth... I mean Water, or is it earth, ......or sumfin'.....
For best results wrap your board in wool, and bury it in the ground to accumulate Chi.... then you'll be feeeeelin' fine. :P

I didn't judge her by what she rides, that's your false assumption.

Flowing with the wave is not best accomplished via malibu type boards... just putting it in language which you might be able to understand.

Sorry. Misunderstood.

Flowing with a wave surely best accomplished without any board?

A ridiculous assumption, based not on physical reality but rather some inane idea of simplicity.

Well then, please explain how in your opinion body surfing is the best way to accomplish flowing with the wave.

Take out any external influence, what's left is either skill, or lack of.

Fail #moron

It is as I said, you are appealing to a notion of simplicity, which has nothing to do with the physics of the matter, it's like Ancient Greek thinking i.e. 3000 years out of date.

That'll be that lack of skill then... But as I said, understandable, as you have to justify your price tags. To suggest anything made by the "industry" is suitable (of course you are not in the industry heaven forbid), demeans the worth of your inflated opinions of your own boards. Beautiful as they are.

For the record, I bodysurf like a brick. I just can't get to grips with it. Doesn't bother me, the boards I've got flow just fine. Sorry, I mean they don't. Obviously.

That's just psycho babble Flacky.

Using a more efficient surfboard does not imply a lack of skill.

What is it they say about opinions? Everyone's got one, some need their hair trimming.

You misinterpreted me sunshine. My suggestion was flowing with a wave would be best done (not most efficiently) with no board separating you from the wave. The type of board used be it a Roy Stewart 17ft piece of craftsmanship, or a 6ft swell foam board does not change this.

My point is that it is a ridiculous suggestion, since it rules out most waves due to the inefficiency of body surfing.
