I don't know the exact swell angle for the wave to work, guessing the 948 low coming in at that angle towards the UK on Saturday might bring some chunkyness down that way. what uz think folks in the know?

i reckon theyre gonna have to start using real time wave prediction methods to nail the heights of these waves. radar systems or similar.

I dont think these systems would be any use for ultimate trough to peak measurements though. They cant measure froth/ whitewater accurately, just solid water, if they could measure within a few feet though it would be better than nowt,less room for macho arguments. you could plant one at the point at Nazare.
It doesnt sound like Garrett et al are interested in numbers though.
