use for old leashes....at last!

Postby surfrat » Fri Jan 25, 2013 9:25 am

this time of year is cold. no one likes a dunking and feeling the shock of cold water shooting down their neck or for me up my leg. I've always found that on my front leg my suit can get rolled up if i hit the water hard allowing some foot and leg flush. doesn't happen on the other leg cos of the leash cuff

so i found a broken leash, cut all the cord off and now use the cuff to give me a great seal over my boot and leg....no more cold getting in there my friends! works a treat

I have the same trouble with my right wrist, no problem with my left wrist because I wear an underwater watch.

If this isn't the most creative, garage shop way to stop water rush I've ever heard of, I don't know what is. Cheers mate.

I tried to get rid of an old leash down the toilet - it doesn't flush now either.

What about those "Livestrong" bands... I'm sure they're looking for a new market...
