Snowdonia surf

Last night we visited the community centre in Dolgarrog to view the proposal for the new surf initiative in North wales- I have to say it makes us very excited|!!!! view this to see what is going to happen by end of Sept 2014!!!

What's the carbon footprint of something like that? how are the waves generated? might get one fitted in the garden.

i know theres quite a push for it from a lot in and around the area....... you just never know...would be good if it did.

guess the poles simulate a man-made hazard on the shoreline, waiting for careless surfers to impale themselves? we have a number of those obstacles in south wales. they could chuck in a few plastic carrier bags to make it still more authentic.
