My new ride :-D

Quiver Hart Attack, 6'4", 21", 2" 5/8. Stoked off this, coming down from a 7'6" Spider minimal and had nothing but good surfs on it.

I was looking at the Hart Attack a while back and had a chat with Luke @ Quiver - they seem a good bunch of guys. In the end I went with a conventional shortboard as I wanted something pre-dominantly for steeper/sucky waves. I still quite fancy one though as I've heard nothing but good things about them, although I've had a hankering for a Rusty Dwart for a long while and recently been taken with the Bing Dharma which looks like it could be a lovely piece of kit

Too many boards to choose from and not enough waves down here on the South Coast

I was looking at a few different boards and didn't know what to get. Had a chat with Luke at Fistral one night and thought he was a sound guy which really sold me on the Quiver - would much rather give my money to someone I've met than some faceless factory in China.
That Bing's a bit of a mad shape - looks like it would have loads of float!

Hey Jory,
Whats the ride like? Did you get that on your last trip to Cali? I'm thinking of going back next year... Misses said I can go with my mates... Only problem is all my mates loathe flying! Wimps! I just keep day dreaming about Swamis.

Hey Jory... That is a real beauty... how does it ride compared to your velosim... It kind of looks like the missing link between the velo and a keel fin fish.. very nice indeed.

There's less belly&more deep concave than the velosim so it's less hully. It's really skatey fast and turns on a dime cos of the length.super fun!

My new progressive longboard from Black and White. I've been tweaking this model with Paul Waters over the past few years and really feel we've hit the nail on the head. Sorry about the poor photo, taken on my phone (it doesn't show the shape that well).
9'1 x 22 1/2 x 2 5/8, pulled in tail, keeps a fair amount of width up through the nose. Plenty of nose and tail lift, turns great of the tail, yet noserides a dream. Stoked with this board and if anyone's looking for a new quality progressive mal, I really recommend this board. Riding it 2 + 1, with standard 7inch centre, loving how responsive it feels.

Also got a like new 8'6 for sale, all white with a red pin line £380.00

How does the piggy surf? Interesting looking craft that one. Actually saw a board similar to that up north a few weeks ago - straight nose.

I've had it about a week now and been out in only small stuff so far - onshore mush and super clean at Sandymouth and Summerleaze, it loves the clean waves and even with a fat crap bloke on board is really fast down the line, but also much more positive to turn than my other logs. Hopefully we'll get some better waves over the next few days and I'll get a chance to find out a bit more about it.

Rob - has just made me a 9-2 pig based on the original Dora Da Cat dimensions but with a rolled hull - similar to the PMP but aptly called Da Royal Pussy - had it out three times in pretty crap conditions and seems a lush board - very fast and just leans into turns and never lets go - completely different feel to any other log I have had, more lively in a positive way and initial impressions are it is going to be a whole lot of fun - cant wait to get it into decent clean waves - I feel a Saunton session calling this weekend.
