sweet looking board, was out at BH on sat afternoon 2-3 feet glass and had a go on my mates log 9.4 must say my wave count went thru the roof compaired to scratching around on a shorter stick, now very seriously considering putting in an order at gulf stream for one of ther logs, progressive or traditional ahh decisions.

Skimmer, that board is a thing of beauty. Fancy nipping up to Aberdeen so I can "test drive" it

I have a 9ft 2 Black and White Performance Noserider which I am swaying about selling......first class nick, very nice all round longboard.......might keep it though but the Mrs is giving me grief for the number of boards I've accumulated even though I'm a crap surfer

Having a longboard on the East coast make a lot of sense when it comes to wavecount :-) You just get loads of waves....save your wee machine for the bigger days. Sam is selling off a couple of his hire longboards - those will be cheaper if you are after something less pricey than my quality custom steed.

Open a Flickr or Photobucket account, load up your pics to that program then right click and 'copy image location' on any pic you want to post.

Come back to MSW, post a reply, paste the link, highlight it then click the 'Img' tab above. Click 'preview' to check it, then post! :-)

just got my first ever custom board - a 5'10 'Hovercraft' from Dylan Longbottom in Bali. Cost just over 300 quid without fins. goes pretty damn nice! Love the quad set up on it...

And how could I forget this, the Ectic Freakoid I picked up last year off Dale Walker.
5'6 x 22 x 3.
I'm fairly agile at 6'2 and 16 stone and its the perfect size for me. Took it to cali, surfed around dana point/san clemente and it was insanely fast. Then took it to oz and surf west oz beachies and it flew.
Gonna take it up to indo in March.

I got boards stashed all round the world but these 3 are my favourite. I do love my 6'4 LOST Rocket and 6'3 7S Superfish though.

I haven't seen these in the UK. It's a Channel Islands 'Robber'. Picked it up in Cali last year and United Airlines made a mess of it on the way back to blighty so I've been waiting for a Devon trip to get him fixed up.
Certainly a interesting shape. Huge twins and a 'little buddy' fin in the middle. 6'3 this one.

I've always liked the looks of those Tiki Prozacs Wigsy - what's it like manouvrement (was invented as a word by an idiot on the Apprentice a year or so back and I was a big fan of it) wise? Keen to turn or a little reluctant?

Picked up this little beaut from the bay for a meagre £160 notes (bargs)

5'8 x 20.5" x 2 5/8" - Rusty Dwart Copy by Bunty. I've fancied one for a while but never seen one going cheap in the right kind of size until now. Got it in the water last weekend and it paddles real well - pretty much as good as my 5'10 speed dialer I'd say, can't comment too much on how it goes yet as the waves were mainly 2ft straight handers at Highcliffe. One thing I did notice is that it seems to want you to have your weight further fwd than you'd expect when paddling into a wave. Need a session in some peelers to suss it out I think.

Keep it on the low down as I haven't told my singlefin yet.

It's early days but signs are good that she likes me too. Mahoosive thanks to Pete from the UK who set us up, A1 wingman without whom I'd still be looking at internet pictures of her rather than having got my leg over Monday morning gone.

It's pretty fun, loves a good turn, but I've slid the tail out a few times accidentally with the quad setup in.. Fast as hell in a straight line though .

Also, very very similar to the Dwart copy you've just purchased.. Damn near identical I'd say..
