I'll take some photos.
Sadly I never do that well with numbers like that these days.

Nah, winds swung, and all the models over-inflate the wave sizes these days.

We were talking about this tonight, dya reckon MSW has a 'weekend swell multiplier' built in to their forecast models? Good for the surf-shops and industry in general!?

Anyway, hitting the hay now, alarms set early :P

I reckon the models just don't pick up a few degrees of swell angle. If you look at the actual chart, this swell has a little S in it, meaning it won't hit the exposed beaches as forecast. The irony is that most people just look at the 5* rating and nothing else. If you look at the data, you can make a far more accurate prediction. I also think the models are maybe a couple of feet generous compared to a few years ago.

Also, people are lazy and want everything spoon fed to them, and can't be arsed to learn!

Turned out pretty damn big and powerful. Couldn't take photos due to fog!

New board is supposed to be a mush buster but was fine in head high hollow closeouts. :-D
