Every surf so far in 2013 has been sick..

And 2012 had an awesome ending, did some hike in backcountry snowboarding on the 30th in perfect powder, then came out of 4 solid barrels on NYE. First time I've spent new years eve in a tent in the middle of nowhere though, must be getting old..

First surf of 2013 today, on a well known North Cornish beachy, great surf, no wind and got to grips with a board that had me struggling on its first surf, Friggin brillaint start to 2013 surf!! Lovely 2-3 ft surf and set waves coming in at 4 ft plus, good shape, good pace, all in all a cracking good session had by all that were there........hoping 2013 keeps it coming :-D

And no hood required either............

No wind problems at Fistral plus some sun made for big clean waves. Only mild stokeage though, I could have done better, ran out of steam in the last half hour!

Devon pumped today.
didn't get outta bed early enough to find any points workin but wooly was pumping. tricky sesh, was getting a bit fed up of paddling then caught bowly one, bottom turned as if to hit lip, realised i werent going fast enough and it was throwing so stalled/turned and got a brief cover up complete with swirly/sloshy barrel noise....
more by accident than design but very very stoked on that

Nah, back in Gran Can for a week or so more. Had another good surf today, sets came like clockwork every 30mins. Had 2 screamers (as screameringy as a shoulder high wave can be) all the way along the reef. Local knowledge rules :-D

Well you've bloody said it now :-D
I'm stuck in Yorkshire for a month or so. Yet to get wet in 2013 but got a board with us just in case. Expecting the North Sea temps to be a bit of a shock, especially after southern Portugal t'other week.

5th consecutive day of decent surf, what a start to the new year!

Pretty quiet in the water wherever I've been, many lovely waves ridden.

Flagging a bit now but stoke running high, more tomorrow.....could definitely use a new set of arms and shoulders.

Hit me up if you do. I'll clue you in. May/June is south swell time and July/August you get wind swell and offshores on Playa Ingles most days. Only downer is too many swimmers on the inside. I may be leaving a board here with a mate that you could grab if you wanted. Let me know yo :)

Been surfing everyday for a week now, arms and shoulders screaming for a break. a few tried and tested spots and the odd session at lesser surfed spots. Low tide has been serving up a some heavy beats last few days. Light offshore winds holding it all together nicely. tomorrow looks good. Pembs
