Great pics danny, its great to see that on this day, the NE UK had some of the best waves in the world,
on your previous post tootes you mentioned spot 'C', its strange that secretspot named it for the world to see, nice pub in the village :-)

yep, although if I know about it must be a poorly kept secret anyway

I was having a chat with a lad up here in Scotland a few weeks ago, I mentioned that I had surfed the Scabs/Saltburn area quite a bit and he quickly dropped C into the conversation. Was quite surprised at the time. lose lips and all that.

The pictures are incredible for the east coast. it was some swell that weekend.

Snapped leash early on Saturday so had a few swims in at my current favourite waste of time. Shoulders are feeling it today. Fairly gash session but some occasional good ones coming through.

I surfed there a few summer's ago when we had a sizeable swell, about 12 or so in the water at early doors,I didn't recognise anyone as if I had gone on a trip away at home, still caught more waves through knowing it better as it wasn't working that well, most places don't stay secret for long,do agree lose lips and all that

as soon as a spot gets a name...its fucked.

Tootes i also snapped a leash that swell. Well rather the metal mechanism failed. Ive had 10 days to let it sink in and i think i can say it was the most brutal drubbing i have had in the sea.

Piss yourself while doing a hand stand?
Had so much trouble getting to my feet recently I decided to borrow an extra foot of board today (+ ibuprofen) and had a blast, nailed every drop and had one nice wall that ran on quite some way. :-)

^^ attaboy.

We got in again down the road - this time on big nasty 25mph onshore lumps - some pretty tasty ones in between the usual carnage & comedy dismounts.

Gordo claims his big knob was doing the work here

We were on the trail at Glentress at sun up on NYD. My chain snapped before the second car park but I managed to repair it trail side (result) and it held out for the whole climb and 90% of the decent, when it went the second time I was by the fire road and managed to freewheel to the bottom. Home in time for lunch.

BIG ugly lumps today with the odd few sections that would link up. got more than my fair share of good ones and worked out a few things in my head through the wonderful medium of power surfing :-D

Only place I've ever had chain snap. On the blue just where it steepens out of the top car park. Luckily borrowed a splitter and got back on the road in no time, and held out the rest of the weekend.
