nowhere near as many as i thought there would be..maybe 10/12 in at most at any one point. got dropped in on by two people, which is kind of uncharacteristic for that spot , or so i thought :?

couple of people paddling past me to get closer to the peak on sets, then pulling off at the last minute too  . got enough to keep the stoke up...i want more waves now though. mate of mine said it would have been sick at S/cove if only the low tide was in afternoon as the swell was dropping off...was it any good ?

Oooft, overhead and sketchy Nigg last night on the drop, got a couple of screamers, back on Nigg this morning although a little late as tide was already filling in, still managed a couple of proper good ones, followed by a two hour log session at Saneine with only two others out for most of the session.

Getting the new Neville spoon really sussed now, it was head high + on the sets, out there with a 10inch hatchet about 2 inches off the back of the box, big drops, committed backhand bottom turns then heading straight to the front. Got one full on noseride standing bolt upright on the nose, fair enough I wasn't hanging ten but I was right up there, it's a bloody nice feeling actually and am well stoked! Try as I might I couldn't repeat to quite the same level, it'll come though.

From over head at Crantock and Gwithian last weekend to overhead and pumping 14 sec period round here this weekend I have had an ace little holiday and probably scored better waves than some people get travelling halfway round the world. Still it's getting colder now and it's dark at 5pm now the clocks change. Planning this to be the last winter in Scotland so better make the most of it I guess!

Ps no need to drug me but I won't refuse! I'm getting less bothered about secrecy in my old age and know that I look back over what's gone on...there are so many good spots where I live that I don't think they ll ever be exhausted.

For example there is one stretch of coast abour 2 miles in length, with no car access... Could support 100 surfers I reckon on a good swell

Those rights were barrelling hard on Sunday. I saw some really deep tube rides.
