Surfed Pembs on a 6'0" Potatonator yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Duck-diving was a mission, but the easy early wave catching and straight-up speed was awesome.

If I were to buy one though, it'd definitely be around the 5'8" mark.

I wish it was like that this morning, I counted 21 other surfers in the lineup. Bit crowded for me so I sat on the shoulder and picked off a few peelers on my longboard :)

Some clean head high waves there yesterday! Lots of fun and quite punchy too. The point never quite lives up to expectations though.

Perfect chest high beach break peelers in Morocco today, loads of great rides and managed to really crank a hard carving bottom turn on the longboard for the first time! Surfed for 6 hours, the only downside was being frazzled by the sun, not keen on going home in a few days.

The flooding has wreaked havoc at my local, half the beach got washed out by the river and it's created a new set of banks. It's been solid leash tugging waves the last couple days as well, it's been thick lipped and fast. Missing a drop means getting plunged to the bottom, pitch black and pelted with pebbles. Today I found a few open faced ones at sunset and managed to drift out the fins on a backhand snap, when they caught again the nose of my board was facing right into the pocket, mad stoke.

Got in the wrong side of the point - the good side was a sketchy jump off and a sketchier out .........

Few good lefts and a nice floaty right to keep the faith ............. thanks for going edgy Harkii

Your legs must have been screaming at the end of that session! Not to mention your arms from the paddle back!

yeah feel the same way really - just posted in the rubbish surf thread. Finding hard to keep the stoke having to deal with the darkness and all the rubber, definitely feels easier in the less cold months thats for sure! Need to stop being a Victor Meldrew, god knows what I'll be like at his age

Guess you won't like hearing what I've got to say then?

Slumbered out of bed at 7.30 today. On the bus by 8am. Didn't think there'd be F all but thought, what the hell, spend the 5euros to check it out. Rounded the corner and saw sexy clean lines rolling in. Got to the beach at 8.30 and paddled out into head and a half sex fest of lush RH point peelers. Only downer was 30-40 out. And maybe that I was wearing my 4/3 and it was 30degrees out of the water. I was way too warm. Had some spanking waves. One was amazing, until I blew it near the end section trying some sort of fancy turn type thing. Ended up falling from the lip and landing in the flats on my gonads. Ouch. Pulled into one tubo but it landed on my back and I didn't really get the view. More please sir. :-D
