waist high dribblers with Harkii down the local - what a difference 24 hours make  :-)

serves me right though, drove by an old granny with her hazards on down a backroad cos I knew the tide would be too high in 2 hours and I wanted some more gravy   how shallow and selfish was that - not impressed but hey , a wave's a wave

Nice couple of hours this afternoon, swell hit right on time, headhigh sets, too many closeouts but plenty of poke at 15secs.

First time back on the quad this year, plus no hood or gloves... :-)

one of the best surfs of my life yesterday. 1ft, sloppy, mini-mal. think it had something to do with it being the first surf since my baby arrived about 2 weeks ago. Just so stoked to be at the beach and in the water again, felt so frikkin free! also helped that it was hot, sunny, sleeveless summersuit and family on the beach when i came out. over the moon in the crappest of conditions! :-D :-D

Just back from surfing in the eye of the storm that's currently passing along the south coast of UK.

Went from a howling on shore, which had me unsure I should be there, then within 20mins no wind at all and sunny with rainbows on the horizon, as the edge of the storm moved west.

Caught some cracking lefts of the reef at school house, also got wipped out by a few ragged monsters. Then the other side of the storm rolled in. The wind sheard to a 20mph Northerly off shore, but biting cold, so I made for the car park and a warm shower. Home now and torrential rain and high winds have returned. So glad I took a look tonight I might never experience anything like that again that again. :-D

Not had stokey on here for a while......but mucho SUP stokey this morning. Was a bit fickle to start with but approaching high tide I found a great sandbar working and was treated to about an hour of waist high, decent period clean ones giving me long trimming rides And yup....I did my Joel Tudor SUP impression (out of California Day) by standing up straight, holding my paddle above my head ....only because I had the bay to myself :D Love it when you take a day off and it works.

^^ glad you got some skimmer, I did too, few lumps coming through at Stinky Bay this evening, got a couple then got a clobbering on the inside for some bizarre reason, it wasn't even that big. Reckon this year has been so shit so far I have lost some deep conditioning I had been hiding behind layers of insulation. Gonna take a while to get that back!

Me tooo! Down your neck of the woods.
Had some lurvely and unexpected clean waves yesterday in South Kernow, Sun was shining, crystal clear water, absolutely stunning, and a few dolphins to really top it off.
First surf in a while though after being uber-ill, so fitness was in rag order and I was dying paddling out in to 3ft surf......
