Lovely little 3 hr surf @ my local slab. Tiny and only just doing it. But solo, glassy, sunny and warm enough to roll top of wettie down!

Nice wedges today at Carrapateira and Amado on the LSD fish but I can't see the swell surviving tomorrow so the two week run will end I reckon. Very much borderline last few days and certainly not like the preceding week to 10 days - certainly not the type of surf that will make headline stories and have hardcore amongst us hiking miles and abseiling down glaciers or bouldering around points but fun nonetheless

Surfed yesterday and today just wearing shorts! It's not often you get a chance to do that in Ireland!
Waves were small but I did'nt care, I had a ball.

Some sick unscheduled waves today, whilst driving past in my van, just happened to have board and wettie in the back. Waist to chest-high, ok it's windswell, but it's waves, punchy shore-break, some nice wedges off the cliff-bodyboarders having great fun. Schtokage :-)

Edit: few little photos of yesterday's wind swell:

At last! What a relief to get some waves @ Perranporth this evening - real actual waves. Hopefully the end of the flat spell. 8)

Ok so today was my first session back in the brine today after a month on the couch because of a small operation. I dusted off my mini mal and was feeling excited to get back into it!!! Driving down to the beach I went through the town center, as i was driving down a busy street a bloke parked on double yelllows opened his door into my car as i was doing 25-30. He pretty much annihilated the front of my car along with his door. We swapped details and parted ways. I finally made it down to the beach and had one of the best sessions of my life despite the piddly condition.

Found some waves today, just got better as the tide dropped. Unexpectedly better than hoped for. :-)

Aye well not all the time. Gutless shite with Harkii & the Janitor yesterday - gravy pushed through in the night & left us with : 'what about over there' , paddle paddle paddle shite, 'might lift with the tide dropping out'.......shite .................. 'here's a set now' ......'slack as fuck, just like yo mamma'............... 'outside......muuwwaaa haa haa' ......................... 'paddle ya diddy, you're going down with the lip' ............... 'what about round there'.....paddle paddle paddle shite 'here you go now, fatty Arbuckle....aaarrrghhh' ....... 'heads-up, fucker backed off again'......... Repeat x 10

3 waves but most paddling and noising each other up - more stoke from the wind ups than the surfing :-)

Fun session on 'Britney' first thing before work...........

Shoulder high but a bit lacking in power, very clean.

Paddles like a dream and responds how I would imagine a hull would, had I ever ridden one, little wiggle of the hips and she squirts away.................good old Britney.

Felt very Old School riding a single again.

You guys down south of us are always a bit more fortunate; not a ripple here. May have been up in Fraseburgh, but it's a long drive not much.

This flat spell is a killer. Thinking of melting my board down and taking up self harm to get through. had my first wave that made the effort to throw itself into a concave profile yesterday by sheer fluke. Every other ride has been gutless slop. i am going to have to freeze myself until we get some decent groundswell. i cant take this much longer.

Wonderful session early doors.............1.5 mtrs @ 10 (but it felt like more) off-shore, six in............stoked as........ :-D :-D

Negative...........our seaweed problem is horrendous, the fine light green stuff that gets eveywhere, what is causing it, sunlight, farmers run off.........someone tell me please.

See above……

Slightly smaller, first one in at 7.30, one of the best sessions of the summer, for me……

Moving house is killing me though, back just about holding up…… :-(

Sucked the last bit of daylight up today in a late evening sesh at Watergate. Water was so warm, and glassy and just really god-dammed nice. Shoulders were so destroyed today after not training/surfing for a few weeks then caning it the last few days and I nearly mugged off surfing tonight, but glad I got amongst it.

Dawny this morning, well worth it, 3-4ft and offshore for a solid few hours before the wind swung round.
Same again tomorrow hopefully
