Sad but true, responsible parent and all that. Loads of shit I turn around and walk away from these days I would have happily done when single and had no kids.

Bit more standard stoke this morning, no beatings, no sphincter clencing dashes for the horizon, just uncrowded head high beach break. Nice quality swell, offshores a bit strong, but beautiful sunrise and colours with fog clinging to the lee of the hills.

few good sessions last couple days today being stand out,at a point break mid tide good head and half high, fatted out at high tide. then went to a beachie for an hr or so then went back to the point for the turning of the tide great to get amongst good solid powerful surf and get a few battle scars along the way :-D :-)

So much stoke and smiles today where I was in, think a lot of people have been feeling short-changed down South but it's looking good for a while. :-) I can count the number of surfs I've had in the last 2 months on 1 hand, but have been trying to keep on top of the fitness by running, circuits, swimming as a substitute everyday and felt as fit as ever in the water, paddling felt strong etc so I'm real happy about that, and mildly confident that I won't drown now on my little surf trip over Christmas. :-)

Saw someone get a proper nice barrel in front of me, and another guy crack some sort of 360 arial maneuver as I was paddling out which looked so sick. Some real good surfers out today, really gunning it along the line getting speed up.

Great surf at Harlyn today. Finaly a little bit of power to the Cornish winter surf. Some cracking barrels and some spine cracking close outs. Loved it. :-D

Currumbin, slightly cross shore, lumpy two-three foot but the four waves I had were bloody good. Fricken hate greedy fricken kook loggers though, dicks. Looking forward to two weeks off and some consistent easterly swell, lots of places to go and check out in the new motor !!

South Straddy, nice and clean, not exactly mobbed but pretty busy, some super sucky peaks coming in up the beach, turning themsleves and unaware riders inside out, avoided that stretch really :) Got some bloody nice waves though and only $6 return on the boat sweet. Up to the Sunshine coast tomorrow, hoping the swell will hold for a few days, not big but a nice size and good offshores in the morning woop

Merry Christmas weeders :)

Good on ya though, Merry Christmas.
